The bedbug debate is ongoing. Which system is best for killing bedbugs.  CO2 is used to freeze them.  Heating systems use a lot of equipment to heat the rooms over 140 degrees.  Steamer services use dry steam to kill bedbugs.  And, of course, pest services spray their product about to kill bedbugs.  And, each one claims their bedbug service is the best.  

When it was discovered that ozone kills bedbugs, a variety of self-appointed experts have criticized the ability of ozone to kill bedbugs.  Actually, all systems can be questioned.  CO2 and heat tends to scatter bedbugs while killing the colony.  Steam systems treat small areas at a time, and can blow bedbugs across the room.  Pest sprays can leave chemical residue.

Ozone is quite effective if it is applied properly. Those who criticize the use of ozone are simply doing it wrong.  A recent Perdue study has confirmed a 100% kill ratio if the proper levels of ozone are achieved.

In fact, there are a series of steps to a proper ozone treatment.  This is completely paid out in the Bedbug course from EcoEducation Center.  Ozone has been effective in killing a wide variety of pests, including dust mites.  In that ozone has proven effective for the well-trained pest services, and not for others; it goes without saying that how ozone is applied is the difference.
