Mold Remediation: Yes, ozone does kill mold and damages mold spores.  We have a number of mold remediation services using our All Ozone generators for pre-treatment and post-treatment of mold.  The protocol uses an ozone shock prior to starting the work to neutralize the facility.  This does not mean that the remediation is less intrusive, but workers are exposed to less toxic threat.  

Flood Tip: Use ozone after the DRY OUT in a flood or water leak within 48-96 hours to prevent mold from growing while the clean up continues.

Post-Remediation Treatment: Use a shock level ozone treatment at the end of the remediation cycle to insure a complete mold kill and to destroy any lingering mold spores.  

In addition, the ozone treatment will clear away lingering mold smells and odors.  Ozone will is also used to eliminate the smoke smell from fire restorations.
