Using stainless steel screws and parts in an ozone generator is a very good idea, and we do use stainless steel parts in our ozone generators.  Frankly, the plastic we use is not affected by the ozone, and the metal parts are not a major factor in the construction.  However, we do use stainless steel in the screws, washers, and other critical parts.

The fan is yet another issue.  We know that BioBlaster uses a spa fan that puts out a lot of air, but that is misleading.  That fan was designed for a spa, not an ozone generator.  Do not imagine that your ozone generator should blow the air throughout the house.  That is foolish.  In the majority of cases, you need area fans to move the air around.  Forcing too much air over the plates tends to hurt the actual ozone production.  Reports of spa fans deteriorating are now common, and rubber bushings and seals actually blow black dust onto the plates.

All Ozone uses an all metal fan motor.  There are not rubber or fabric parts that can be harmed by the ozone being produced.  We have measured the PPM output of our units to get the right CFM output for the unit.  Once you have maximum ozone output, use your fans strategically to move the air through the building, or add in another ozone generator.

As another practical note, it is advised to raise the ozone generator off the floor by 3-4 foot when possible.  Have the AC and fan running so the ozone is pushed through the air duct and throughout the house.
