Should the Ozone Generator be Outside or Inside?

Many people visiting this page has seen the misguided videos about pushing ozone through a hose into the vehicle. Is this the best way to remove odors with ozone? Let’s start with some simple facts. Ozone production is HURT or DECREASED with humidity above 60% and high summer temperatures. That is just the science of ozone. If the unit is run from the outside, chances are you are getting lower production. And, regardless of boastful claims, most units do not push the air well enough to go through six foot of 2″ hose.

Ozone Shock is exactly as implied, you want maximum ozone concentration for a short period. If your equipment says to run it for 12-24 hours, it is too small.

For best results, ALWAYS place the unit inside the vehicle, turn on the AC and full fan to treat the air duct system, and set the time for 45-60 minutes.
