As you plow through boastful site after mega-boastful website, you may wonder which ozone generator is best for your hotel or motel.  Good question, but let me help you decide on more than hype.  Whether you have learned this from experience or not, ozone generators are not like furniture.  They will eventually lose their optimum performance and become little more than a box with a fan inside.  The ozone producing plates or tubes inside will eventually wear down.  Some low-output systems will last longer, but take 12, 24, and 48 hours to do the job.  Who wants to take the room off the rent cycle for that long?

A more powerful ozone generator will freshen a room in less than an hour, and it will remove bad odors in about a 3-4 hour treatment.  So, when shopping around, look for a 20,000 mg/h system at the very least.  This is the best size for an apartment size treatment.
