Getting rid of smoke in a car, house, apartment or hotel is not easy.  The tar in smoke causes it to cling to every surface including walls, ceilings, and cabinets.  It also easily embeds in carpet, furniture, and drapes.  So, the task of removing the odor is nearly impossible short of a total rehab of the room or building.  Smoke odors can be detected for ten years after the smoking has stopped.  As a known carcinogen, cigarette smoke can continue doing damage for years.

Cleaning the walls with vinegar and putting on a coat of paint will lessen the problem; but as the paint dries, it will become porous again.  That is why the smoke smell returns.  The porous paint eventually allows the smoke smell to ooze out.

Try a better strategy.  By using an All Ozone generator, the smoke is neutralized at a molecular level.  Ozone will destroy the smell so it does not come back.  Then, any cleaning and painting will have  better effect.

We feel that our All Ozone 14000 and 28000 are the best ozone generators for smoke because they have excellent ozone output.  Most treatments can be done is just 2-3 hours.  Figure about 10000 mg for every 1000 sq ft, and you will find that the 14k unit will easily treat about 1500 sq ft, and the 28k will treat about 3000 sq ft.  If your unit calls for longer treatments of 12, 24, and 48 hours, the equipment is frankly just too small to do the job.  Because ozone will affect rubber product, soft acrylics, and such; short burst of shock level ozone are best.

Equipment like the MaxBlaster claim to output 12k or 14k amounts of ozone, but have fallen fall short in actual tests.  These 20 year old systems are not capable of what the advertising boasts.  This is true of several “old style” units using stainless steel screens for the electrical charge.  Those systems are just too inefficient to produce what our 14000 is capable of.  Our 14000 ozone generator blows by the 20 PPM test in just 30 seconds.  It raises a 1000 cu ft room ozone level to 12 PPM in just 90 minutes.  Shock level happens at about 6 PPM, and Maxblaster cannot raise a 1000 cu ft room about 4 PPM.

There is more.  Our units use the “Short Proof” transformers meaning that the worse of conditions will not cause the unit to overheat.  When the user is told the vacate the room during operation, the unit is basically unattended.  The design and safety features of the All Ozone units are well above the standards of other ozone generators.
