Ozone is effective in killing the worst of pathogens. Whether saturated in the air or in water, ozone kills faster than chlorine products (seconds instead of minutes) and does not require chemicals.

The science behind ozone disinfection is very clear. The three oxygen atom molecule easily discharges the third oxygen atom when it encounters bacteria or virus. This free atom burns (oxidizes) a hole in the outer membrane of the germ’s outer membrane. This can happen numerous times in a second, depending on the ozone level.
Ozone reaches all parts of the room if it is in the air, or ozone can be delivered in a water spray for specific areas to be treated. The amount of ozone needed for water applications are less because there is less volume to saturates. Air generators have more cubic feet to saturate, so the equipment must produce more ozone to reach the best sanitizing level.
Our XytoBlast system is perhaps the best choice for sanitizing because there is negliable ozone offgassing, more effective delivery system, and it will also destroy the biofilm that safeguards bacteria on all types of surfaces.
