UV ozone generators are not affected by humidity.  Corona generators will lose some of the ozone production when humidity gets above 60%.  This does not happen to UV systems.  They consistently produce a good quality of ozone.

UV systems do not produce nitrous oxide, which may make the left-over scent more mild.  This is not proven, and the amount of nitrous oxide is too small to worry about.

Many in the mold business prefer UV ozone generators believing that they are very effective in kill mold and mold spores.
